Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. This critical role ensures that data is leveraged effectively to facilitate timely business monitoring and decision-making across the organization. As Built Brands continues to grow, this analytical leader will play a key role in maximizing our use of data to better serve our customers. This role reports to the Senior Director of Business Intelligence and has a runway of growth opportunities ahead of them as the company continues to grow.
What you will do:
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for various departments.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, correlations, and opportunities for improvement, resulting in actionable recommendations.
Tool Proficiency & Process Improvement
- Continuously improve internal reporting processes and methodologies to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilize project management skills to effectively tackle larger problems.
- Stay current with the latest methods in data usage and best practices in dashboarding and reporting.
Collaboration and professionalism
- Attend all related cross-functional meetings.
- Work collaboratively across the organization to understand data and reporting needs.
- Meet all deadlines as directed.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in analytics, computer science, statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the consumer products or manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and transform data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc.) and data visualization tools like PowerBI.
- Experience in developing various types of dashboard reports for various business functions.
- Expertise in working with various types of data, including customer, operational, financial, ecommerce, and customer satisfaction data.
- Proficient in SQL/MySQL and data management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders at various levels.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Motivation to learn and take on additional responsibilities as the company continues to grow.
This role is a hybrid with three days in the American Fork, UTAH office.
