Able to assist Master Carpenter with building projects and have the desire to take on leading roles during construction projects. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and carpentry, with experience in various building techniques. This role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and collaborating effectively with team members to meet project deadlines. The Builder will be responsible for interpreting schematics and executing construction tasks that may include flooring installation, cabinet installation, masonry, and more.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Perform flooring installation, ensuring precision and adherence to design specifications.
- Execute glass installation with attention to safety and quality standards.
- Conduct masonry work including bricklaying and stone setting as required by project specifications.
- Lay tiles accurately for both aesthetic appeal and functional durability.
- Utilize Bluebeam software for construction estimating and project management.
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate execution of building plans.
- Restore existing structures while maintaining their integrity and historical value.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Builder or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in carpentry techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with flooring installation methods and materials.
- Experience in glass installation is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in construction estimating using software such as Bluebeam.
- Knowledge of cabinet installation practices.
- Ability to perform masonry tasks effectively.
- Experience with tile laying techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks over extended periods.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
