What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drywall Contractor position at BZAK Builders?
Looking for MINIMUM 10 years experience.
- Measuring and Cutting: Accurately measure and cut drywall panels to fit specific spaces, following blueprints or instructions.
- Securing Panels: Fasten drywall panels to studs or joists, ensuring proper alignment and a secure fit.
- Handling Tools: Proficiently use hand and power tools, including nail guns, saws, and taping tools.
- Installing Corner Beads: Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
Finishing:
- Taping and Mudding: Apply drywall tape to seams and corners, then apply joint compound (mud) to cover the tape and fill in any imperfections.
- Sanding: Sand the mudded areas to create a smooth, even surface, removing any bumps or irregularities.
- Repairing Damage: Patch or repair any holes, cracks, or damage to the drywall panels.
- Preparing for Paint: Ensure the drywall surfaces are clean, smooth, and ready for painting or other finishes.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
