We are looking for a Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic and motivated team. We are currently searching for someone who has the experience and expertise necessary to coordinate, direct and supervise in the planning, organizing and inspection of construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion.
- Order equipment and arrange for regular maintenance.
- Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed
- Communicate with the project team
- Ensure that the team and subcontractor are fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work
- Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution
- Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the job site
- Perform duties at multiple job sites simultaneously
- Walk all units on the project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning
- Attending meetings designed to coordinate the work
- Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors about quality of work or scheduling
- Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner
- Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion
- Utilize construction management software such as procore and bluebeam on a daily basis
Experience:
- Minumum of 5 years as a commerical construction superintendent
- Experience using procore and bluebeam is prefrerred
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from beginning to end
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams
Skills:
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols (OSHA 30 preferred)
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Projects and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive team attitude and flexibility
