**Job Summary:** The Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality and efficiency of our industrial health and safety equipment and systems by evaluating, planning, designing, and modifying manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain process flow, PFMEA, and operation and maintenance documentation
- Support production in reducing equipment and tooling downtime or scrap
- Lead cross-functional product and process development teams
- Meet labor content and product cost standards using good assembly methodologies
- Prepare routings, visual work instructions, and manufacturing plans
- Provide support and training to production associates as needed
- Support error-proofing methodologies
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-4 years related experience in manufacturing or assembly processes
- Strong mechanical/technical skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership and teamwork abilities
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
