Trim Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Trim Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of doors and trim in residential construction settings ensuring they meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This position is paid at piece-rate giving the Trim Installer an opportunity to make more than at an hourly rate.

Duties

• Proper completion of the installation of assigned trim work. This would include the initial assessment and prep of all trim and the communication between yourself and the Superintendent on-site to ensure the job is completed to the builder’s satisfaction.
• Utilize tools and equipment effectively.
• At completion of job, conduct thorough inspections of installed products to ensure functionality and quality.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any installation issues that may arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Provide exceptional customer service during installations, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
• Document installation processes and report any discrepancies or required adjustments.
• Complete assigned paperwork daily.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in installation or a related field is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to bend and lift as much as 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A valid driver's license.

Bulldog Flooring & Finish Carpentry, Inc. is a family owned business located in Tracy, CA. Originally BFFC was founded in 2007 as Bulldog Floor Coverings, a hardwood flooring install only business. In 2017 Bulldog Trim was started, a trim install only business and in 2019 it was decided to add supply so the two businesses merged together to form BFFC. BFFC has had a lot of growth and with growth comes opportunity. Many members of the team have been with the Company for many years.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
