Daycare Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of children in your care. You will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of toddlers and preschool-aged children.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
• Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and daily activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all children.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

• Proven experience in daycare settings or as a nanny, with a focus on childhood development.
• Knowledge of preschool curriculum and toddler care techniques.
• Strong behavior management skills to effectively guide children's interactions.
• Ability to engage with children in a positive and supportive manner.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with parents, colleagues, and children effectively.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their growth and development.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
