Daycare Teacher Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and educational development of children in your care. You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that foster learning and growth while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children, including those with special needs.
• Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their development.
• Facilitate play-based learning activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and social interaction among children.
• Maintain classroom management by establishing rules and routines that promote positive behavior.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to child development and education.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's daily activities, milestones, and any concerns that may arise.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the daycare facility.

Skills

• Strong experience in childcare settings such as babysitting, nannying, or working with children with disabilities.
• Knowledge of infant care practices and toddler care techniques is essential.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
• Experience working with students who have special education needs is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
• Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with young children are crucial attributes for success in this role.

Pay: Up to $10.00 per hour
