Job Title: Human Resource Generalist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resource Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting the overall HR strategy of the organization. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Manage employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Support employee relations by addressing concerns and facilitating conflict resolution.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs and performance management systems.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve retention strategies.
- Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
- Experience with HRIS systems, experience with Paylocity a plus
- SHRM certification a plus
