Maintenance Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance and repairs. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
• Fabricate parts as needed to support repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
• Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within safety guidelines.
• Utilize an Ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to assess electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes.

Skills

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication within the team.
• Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate team members during maintenance projects.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with safety protocols related to maintenance work in an industrial setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
