About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Weld Process Technician to join our team at Bundy Baking Solutions. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for optimizing and improving our welding processes to ensure high-quality products and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze areas for process improvement, focusing on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Develop and implement new weld processes and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of weld process improvements and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Train and mentor weld team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to source new technologies and materials.
- Contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement within the manufacturing team.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in TIG welding is mandatory.
- Laser welding experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with weld fixturing and process improvement techniques is desirable.
- Technical expertise in welding practices and principles is essential.
- Production custom welding experience is required.
Education
- A High School diploma or GED is the minimum educational requirement.
- Experience in welding trade schools or relevant engineering training is preferred.
