Position Summary:
This position is located in the Bunge North America soybean processing plant in Decatur, IN. The Packaging Operator position is responsible for safely and accurately performing various operator duties. This includes moving product and material throughout the Packaging Department with a forklift, operate scales, conveyors, wrapping equipment and material moving equipment.
Work scheduled is 2nd Shift. Must be willing to work weekends, holiday.
Starting pay is $28.22

Core Functions:
- Perform department sanitation duties
- Responsible to adhere to the Food Safety Culture to provide safe product to consumers
- Report any concerns with safe food practices
- Operate liquid and cube packaging lines
- Document various checklists
- Safety and accurately load trucks with finished product
- Utilize warehouse management system
- Participate in continuous improvement and safety programs
- Work safely and assist coworkers as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Follows all safety policies and procedures
- Follows Good Manufacturing Practices
Skills / Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED preferred
- Previous experience in an industrial environment is preferred
- Ability to work safely and follow policies and procedures
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Willing to work overtime and flexible hours
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work 2nd / 3rd shift
- Good attendance
