Production Operator

Bunge is hiring for multiple full-time Operator openings at our Muleshoe, TX facility. Position Details:

Twelve hour shifts on a rotating schedule, days and nights. Including weekends and holidays.

Hourly wage: $16.95

What You'll Be Doing:

The position of Operator I may include one or more of the following duties including: Material Handler, Warehouse, and/or Bulk Systems.

• Attention to safe operation and demonstration of safe work habits and behaviors.This includes the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Observe all safety and food safety guidelines and adhere to all company rules and policies, and good manufacturing practices.
• General housekeeping responsibilities.
• Attention to product specifications and proper product handling.
• Equipment and tank inspection in accordance with safety and operating procedures.
• Employee must successfully complete Bunge's forklift training and certification in order to operate the forklift as part of job duties.
• Commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Additional duties as requested or assigned.

Material Handler Key Duties:

• Ensure printing on bags is accurate and correct bags are being used by baggers.
• Ensure accurate record keeping is maintained.
• Responsible for forklift general operations including fluid check and fueling.

Warehouse Key Duties:

• Load/unload shipments.
• Fill product orders.
• Record keeping of warehouse inventory.
• General forklift operations including fluid check and fueling.

Bulk Systems Key Duties:

• Responsible for directing of product into silos.
• Monitor and adjust flour flow when filling tanks.
• Record keeping of lot numbers and silo inventory.
• Record keeping of inbound and outbound weights.
• Record truck scale, weights, and scale tickets.
• Responsible for tank placement for truck pick-up.
• Record keeping of tank seals and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of relevant work experience including forklift and warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to proficiently read and write in English for the purposes of record keeping and safety training and processes.
• Must have basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division. Understand various units of measure (US Currency, imperial weights and measurements, metric weights and measurements), common fractions, and decimal usage.
• Ability to work in a safety conscious environment.
