Transportation Clerk | Monday- Friday | 7am Start time
The Transportation Clerk will provide administrative support to the transportation department including filing freight claims, reviewing DOT logs for compliance, negotiating freight rates and assisting in the warehouse as needed.

Responsibilities :
- Constant communication with drivers to ensure on time deliveries / pick-ups and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate the routes daily based on customer needs
- Review LTL and UPS costs daily for cost effectiveness based on customer needs
- File freight claims with the applicable carrier
- Using the AS400, negotiate freight rates for better service and cost effectiveness
- Review driver logs, hours of service, trip reports, driver reports, etc for DOT / FMCSR compliance
- Assist with warehouse responsibilities as required
