Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations while fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide safety training to employees and management.
- Monitor compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of safety incidents and training.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related matters with regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with management to ensure workplace safety initiatives align with company goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred).
- 3 years of experience in a safety management role, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, ASP, OSHA 30-Hour Training) are a plus.
