HR & Payroll Specialists – Join Our Growing Team!
Burch Dental Partners is looking for an HR & Payroll Specialist who is eager to grow with us!
This is NOT a remote position.
We support multiple dental offices in Rockford, IL, and surrounding areas, and we live by our core values – Commitment to Excellence, Humble, Hungry, Effective Communication, and a Winning Attitude (CHHEW!).
About the Role:
This position will primarily focus on payroll processing, recruitment, and HR compliance, ensuring our teams are supported and our processes run smoothly.
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll & Benefits:
- Process multiple payrolls accurately and on time (experience with Paycor a plus!)
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with payroll laws
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist with open enrollment
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: posting jobs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and onboarding new hires
- Ensure new hires align with our core values and are set up for success from day one
HR Compliance & Training:
- Stay up to date on employment laws and ensure company compliance (FMLA, OSHA, Workers’ Compensation, etc.)
- Conduct annual compliance training on diversity & inclusion, harassment prevention, and safety
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and best practices
What We’re Looking For:
2 years of HR experience
Strong attention to detail – payroll accuracy is key!
A fun, engaging personality – we want someone who enjoys what they do!
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
