We are looking for an experienced Construction Code Enforcement Specialist to join our team in Fairfield, Texas. As a key member of our inspection management team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive trade-specific inspections on commercial and residential buildings, ensuring compliance with the International Codes.
About the Job:
- Conduct thorough code inspections on various building types, including commercial and residential properties.
- Prepare detailed written and electronic inspection reports, issuing notices of correction as needed.
- Educate clients and stakeholders on applicable building codes, regulations, and quality control requirements.
- Resolve complex issues that arise during the inspection process, providing excellent customer service.
- Support business development activities and collaborate with the inspection management team.
- Pursue other related duties assigned by the Manager.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
- Valid Texas driver's license.
- Minimum 2 years of experience conducting field inspections on construction projects.
- ICC Commercial and Residential Inspector certifications.
- Texas Plumbing Inspector license.
- Proven experience in quality assurance/quality control and project management.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
