What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Paralegal position at Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine PC?
We are a plaintiff firm looking to add an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our growing Phoenix office. The successful candidate will work on all aspects of our complex litigation cases, is a reliable team player with a friendly, positive attitude and a high level of professionalism who will play a key supporting role in ensuring that our clients are well served. The position requires:
5 years of progressive complex civil litigation paralegal experience that includes:
- managing, organizing and facilitating complex litigation cases involving multiple parties and counsel
- collecting, managing, organizing, and reviewing large volumes of discovery documents electronically
- applying both state and federal court rules of civil procedure
- drafting pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence
- well-developed writing and research skills
- The ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people
- The ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships
- The ability to work with limited supervision
- The ability to effectively instruct and direct administrative staff
- The ability to anticipate attorney needs, identifying problems and finding solutions
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize a high volume of workload
- Experience in managing electronic and paper filing systems
- Experience preparing for and attending arbitration, mediation, and trial

SALARY RANGE: $68,000 to $75,000 , starting salary within the range will be commensurate with the candidate’s level of experience.
