Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Windows Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Windows-based environments, managing cloud-based infrastructures, and ensuring a seamless virtual desktop experience for end users.
Key Responsibilities :
- Windows Server Administration : Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, and DHCP.
- Azure Cloud Management : Deploy, manage, and optimize workloads in Azure, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) , Azure Active Directory (AAD), and Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
- Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) : Design, configure, and maintain VDI solutions, such as Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Citrix, VMware Horizon, or other virtualization technologies.
- System Monitoring & Performance Tuning : Ensure optimal performance of Windows-based environments through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Automation & Scripting : Use PowerShell, Terraform, or Ansible to automate deployments, configurations, and maintenance tasks.
- Security & Compliance : Implement security best practices for Windows systems, including patch management, vulnerability assessments, and compliance with industry standards.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery : Configure and maintain backup solutions for Windows servers and cloud environments to ensure business continuity.
- Collaboration & Support : Work closely with IT teams, developers, and end users to provide support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.
