Remote Contract Role (12-Month)
Compensation : $50 / hour
On behalf of our esteemed client, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Azure Cloud and Azure HCI . This is a 12-month contract role that offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud solutions and infrastructure projects. Candidates must hold an active security clearance to be eligible for this position.
About the Role
The Senior Systems Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions with a strong emphasis on IT security and compliance. This position requires a technical leader who can bridge the gap between complex business needs and high-level technical execution, ensuring the successful delivery of critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage solutions within Microsoft Azure Cloud and Azure HCI platforms.
- Drive initiatives focused on cloud security , systems design , and software integration to meet organizational goals.
- Implement and manage Identity & Access Management (IAM) strategies, including Azure Active Directory , Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) , and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) .
- Develop and maintain secure CI / CD pipelines using tools such as Terraform , Jenkins , Git , and Azure DevOps .
- Optimize network security protocols, including firewall rule configurations and Azure Key Vault integrations.
- Utilize expertise in SIEM tools , CrowdStrike , Wiz , and Tenable to strengthen monitoring and threat management capabilities.
- Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth collaboration between technical and operational departments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing and future projects.
