What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hiring Electrician- Service / Repair Technician position at Burgeson's Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc.?
We are currently searching for a Service Electrician with a minimum of 5 years experience to join the Burgeson’s team. We offer competitive pay based on experience and benefits. We invite California Certified Electricians who are looking for a full time position to apply. Overtime and weekends will be required as needed. Applicants must pass background check and drug screen/physical. Must have a good driving record and be insurable by our insurance company.
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
- Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
- Troubleshoot motor and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
- Adhere to all quality and safety codes
Qualifications:
- California State Certified Electrician with at least 5 years experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
- Knowledge and skills of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of both residential and commercial electrical systems and equipment
- Previous 5 years experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
- Generator and solar knowledge a plus.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Able to work well on a team
- Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
