Description
The APP will perform a wide range of duties, including assessing patient health, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, providing preventative care, and educating patients. The APP must to work in collaboration with our team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive healthcare services to individuals and families across the lifespan. The APP will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a family practice setting.
Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies. Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) from an accredited program. Certification in Family Practice (NP or PA) preferred. Active, unrestricted license to practice as an NP or PA in the state of Iowa. Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in primary care or family medicine is preferred. Strong clinical skills in managing a wide variety of health conditions. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
