B&N is looking for a passionate, ambitious Geologist to join our Environmental Services Division in Columbus, OH focusing on brownfield redevelopment and environmental assessments. This position will manage a variety of brownfield and environmental site assessment projects and offers growth for professional and personal development with occasional field work.

B&N Geologist Responsibilities
- Working with a team of professionals, collect and evaluate environmental data and install sample collection points.
- Perform and manage Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments.
- As a project manager, coordinate on-site field sampling of soil, groundwater, sediment, and surface water to assess projects sites.
- Perform data reduction, evaluation and report writing for projects related to brownfield redevelopment and restoration.
- Mentor and train less experienced staff in sampling.
- Bachelor of Science in Geology or other related Earth or Soil science
- 10 years of related project management experience including strong knowledge of Phase I and Phase II site assessments, specifically brownfields
- Ohio Voluntary Action Program certified professional or Licensed Professional Geologist a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- A valid driver's license with acceptable driving history
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and traverse uneven terrain
- Ability to travel up to 30% of time, including overnight stays
- Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills
