About the Role
\Burke Center is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing complex clerical and advanced bookkeeping work in accounting and fiscal records keeping.

- Managing cash inflows and outflows \
- Collecting payments from clients \
- Tracking and recording payments \
- Reconciling payments and client accounts \
- Providing excellent customer service and support \
- Staying up-to-date with changing regulations and laws \
- Identifying and implementing process improvements \
- Maintaining accurate records and reports \
- Collaborating with other teams \
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and vendors \

Requirements
\* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in accounting preferred* Two (2) years of experience in accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and/or general ledger in an automated system* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
