Futures Grant Program Assistant
Part-Time position up to 20 hours per week.
The rate is $17.00 per hour.
Special Requirements
Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and other unusual hours when necessary. Thursday
evenings 4:30-7:30 to assist with support group is mandatory.
Must have access to transportation to attend events and meetings.
Role
The Administrative Assistant is school-based and is responsible for inputting data, maintaining participant
files, and assisting with Circle of Parents and Triple P weekly groups, as needed. The Administrative
Assistant reports directly to the Program Coordinator. This is an 11 month position.
Duties & Responsibilities
? Maintain physical and digital filing system.
? Maintain accurate and current records on each family.
? Answer phone calls and assists program participants to receive services.
? Operate office equipment.
? Research as requested and compile and summarize information for reports and presentations.
? Maintain confidentiality and security and ensure compliance with privacy and policy regulations.
? Always uphold a high level of professionalism in working with families, school personnel and
community representatives.
? Protect the rights of families by practicing a strict policy of confidentiality.
? Assist the Program Coordinator and/or facilitator of weekly groups, as needed.
? Perform other related work as required
Knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work
? Familiarity with standard office platforms, including Microsoft Office.

? Assist with event planning and coordination.

Minimum Requirements
? High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree a plus.
? Past administrative experience or tenure in an office setting a plus.
? Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) or Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification a plus.
