Housekeeper

Burleson Manor is currently seeking a Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents, staff and visitors.

Duties:

• Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed
• Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned

Skills:

• Experience in floor care and facilities maintenance preferred
• Knowledge of industrial and commercial cleaning techniques
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners
