What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Veterinary Receptionist position at Burlington Animal Clinic?
Burlington Animal Clinic is looking for a full-time receptionist/assistant. Hours are Monday 8:15-5:15, Tuesday 8:15-5:15, Wednesday 12:00-8:15, and Friday 8:15-5:15.
We are a busy one doctor practice, seeing primarily small animals. Veterinary experience is preferred, but not required. Primary responsibilities are answering the phone and checking clients in and out of their appointments. There is a lot of phone time. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and like talking to people.

Our clientele includes many long term clients and we often see several generations of clients and their pets. Creating strong relationships with our clients and patients is a huge part of this role.

Preference is giving to people with experience in reception and/or veterinary setting, but neither is a requirement. Some experience with animals would be helpful. Position would be reception only for the first two months, then would be 50% reception and 50% assisting.
