Burlington Golf Club is happy to announce the following position is open for hire:
Housekeeper
The Housekeeper maintains and services the Club operations properly. They must be dedicated to quality service and to exceeding Member and Guest expectations. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the highest level of facility cleanliness within the Club and preform light maintenance applications as needed.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and clean all Club buildings on a daily schedule, according to BGC standards and procedures.
- Clean all facilities as assigned, including floors, carpets, walls, ledges, pictures, mirrors, furniture, fixtures and equipment; empty garbage containers.
- Assist Maintenance Department in completing duties as assigned.
- Maintain an infection-free facility by thorough washing, cleaning, and replacing equipment and/or furnishings.
- Report repairs or the need for replacements to the facility maintenance manager; follow up to assure repair meets facility standards.
- Work in a safe manner and use all personal protective equipment (safety gear) assigned; report unsafe conditions or accidents to a supervisor.
- Comply with all rules and regulations (including OSHA, EPA, and state Health Department) for using cleaning products and chemicals, as provided by the Facility Manager.
- Assist with set up and tear down for Club events.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Six months’ experience in housekeeping or hospitality.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $11.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
