What are the responsibilities and job description for the Final Inspection- Small Parts position at Burlington Graphic Systems, Inc.?
Basic Function
Inspect and approve with labels acceptance quality of finished goods. Coordinate shipping function. Assist with bagging/ boxing goods.
Specific Duties
- Inspect finished auto chrome goods for quality, customer specifications, etc.
- Print necessary labels for bagging and keep accurate punches on jobs.
- Sort, track and report categories of rejected goods to supervisor and any corrective actions that might be desirable.
- Monitor shipping list for priority of product to be inspected/shipped.
- Keep accurate job labor and recordings by properly using current computer system.
- Determine most appropriate method of packing and transporting for each shipment.
- Assist in training quality standards.
- Keep immediate work area clean and orderly.
- Perform all other tasks as assigned.
