About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team in Racine, WI. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of presses, ensuring that they are running efficiently and producing high-quality products. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that all orders are completed on time and to the required specifications. Your attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly will be critical to your success in this role. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience operating and maintaining presses
- Ability to read and interpret job orders and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with flexographic, gravure, and/or offset presses
- Experience with digital printing technology
- Experience with color management and quality control
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of presses, including but not limited to flexographic, gravure, and offset presses
- Ensure that all presses are running efficiently and producing high-quality products
- Monitor production schedules and work closely with the production team to ensure that all orders are completed on time and to the required specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on presses and troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Skills:
As a Press Operator, you will use your strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to ensure that all presses are running efficiently and producing high-quality products. You will also use your ability to read and interpret job orders and blueprints to ensure that all orders are completed to the required specifications. Your attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly will be critical to your success in this role. Additionally, you may use your experience with digital printing technology and color management to help improve our processes and products. Finally, you will work closely with the production team, using your strong communication and teamwork skills to ensure that all orders are completed on time and to the required specifications.
