What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff scheduler/Coordinator position at Burlington Health and Rehabilitation Center?
We are looking for a highly skilled Staffing Scheduler to undertake a variety of tasks such as placement and scheduling of employees. A Scheduler must be an excellent communicator, and be able to foster relationships with employees, clients, and other individuals in the facility. The main goal of this position is to ensure that the company’s staffing requirements are always met.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee staffing needs and operations of the company
- Liaise with recruiting and human resources departments to fill vacancies in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations
- Prepares daily/monthly staffing sheets with continual revisions as necessary
- Communicates with DON or designee to ensure coordination of information and maintain accuracy of schedule
- Perform other related activities as assigned or requested
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven experience as staffing Scheduler or similar position (minimum of one year of experience - SNF facility preferred, home care or AL)
- Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures and best practices
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Reliable with a respect to confidentiality
- Knowledge of managing staff schedules
- Active CNA certification required
- 1 Years of scheduling experience in healthcare settings preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong Computer skills and knowledge with MS Word and Excel
