Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Application Support Specialist to provide tier 2 level support for Burlington Stores Retail and Corporate applications, including Point of Sale (POS), mPOS, Back-Office Application Suite, and more.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational, and technical skills, with a minimum of 3 years IT/application support experience. Experience supporting retail solutions, including POS and Back Office Software, is also required.
- Provide tier 2 level support for Burlington Stores Retail and Corporate applications
- Identify trending issues and partner with Tier III support teams to find meantime workarounds and permanent solutions
- Deploy software updates, maintenance, and deployments
- Communicate and document changes in knowledge base
- Execute tasks in accordance with quality standards and technical procedures
Requirements:
- At least 3 years IT/application support experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting retail solutions, including POS and Back Office Software
- XStore (Oracle Solution) is highly preferred
- Knowledge of retail IT hardware
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices (a plus)
- Familiarity with SQL statements and scripting languages (VBscript, MS-DOS, PowerShell) is a plus
