**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a Retail Application Support Professional. As part of our Application Support team, you will be responsible for providing tier 2 level support for Burlington Stores Retail and Corporate applications.
This includes fixing Point of Sale (POS), mPOS, Back-Office Application Suite, Store Operation Applications, DocMGR, TimeManagement, Reporting Systems, Software updates, maintenance, and deployments.
You will support end users using your analytical, organizational, and technical skills, and help identify trending issues to partner with Tier III support teams to find meantime workarounds and permanent solutions.
The successful candidate will also be Deployment SME on various IT initiatives, planning, communicating, executing, and monitoring software deployments.
The position requires Holiday, weekend, and on-call coverage, and occasional project work in the overnight hours (1AM - 7AM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing tier 2 level support for Burlington Stores Retail and Corporate applications
- Fixing Point of Sale (POS), mPOS, Back-Office Application Suite, Store Operation Applications, DocMGR, TimeManagement, Reporting Systems, Software updates, maintenance, and deployments
- Supporting end users using analytical, organizational, and technical skills
- Helping identify trending issues and partnering with Tier III support teams to find meantime workarounds and permanent solutions
- Deployment SME on various IT initiatives, planning, communicating, executing, and monitoring software deployments
Requirements:
- At least 3 years IT/application support experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting retail solutions including POS and Back Office Software
- XStore (Oracle Solution) is highly preferred
- Knowledge of retail IT hardware
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices (a plus)
- Familiarity with SQL statements, preferred
- Scripting (VBscript, MS-DOS, PowerShell) experience preferred
