Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Store Closing Team Leader.
The Store Closing Team Leader serves as the visible leader on the sales floor, ensuring a consistently positive customer and associate experience. The role involves circulating throughout the store, engaging with customers and associates, and utilizing key priorities to provide coaching, recognition, and task follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exemplify exceptional customer service behaviors and deliver a great customer experience to all customers and associates with high professionalism.
- Engage associates, promote open communication, provide recognition, and coaching in the moment.
- Touch base with each associate to establish priorities and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Monitor the front-end experience and ensure a great first and last impression for every customer.
- Observe and provide feedback to the Customer Service Lead on speed of checkout, line management, and friendliness.
- Review daily staffing, lunch/break schedules, and cashier coverage to optimize store operations.
- Assign back-up cashiers to ensure timely processing during peak periods and minimize wait times.
- Evaluate recovery needs, monitor the fitting room, selling floor, front end, missing ticket trouble rack, and sizing recover to drive efficiency.
- Follow up on assigned workload planner and tasks and ensure completion, while ensuring associates understand expectations and have necessary tools.
- Conduct AM/PM store rallies to motivate and engage associates.
- Complete closing communication for the opening Manager on Duty.
Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
