OVERVIEW
The Human Resources Administrative Assistant will provide critical support to the HR team by managing administrative tasks, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, , benefits administration, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and passionate about contributing to a positive workplace culture. This role is based out of our Corporate office in Irving, Texas.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Provide general administrative and human resources support
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations by completing documentation for EEO, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, worker compensation, and other related requirements.
- Support new hire onboarding by preparing documentation, coordinating orientations, and ensuring a smooth integration into the company.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
- Provide administrative support for HR initiatives, such as training programs, employee engagement activities, and compliance audits.
- Respond to employee inquiries and direct them to the appropriate HR team member as needed.
WHAT WE WOULD LIKE FROM YOU
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Proven experience in an administrative or HR support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and recruitment platforms is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to travel to various locations within the USA and Canada.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
