Nonprofit organization that provides health and wellness services to the LGBTQ community is seeking a Director of Strategic Advancement to oversee strategies to grow the organization's financial resources, partnerships, and community impact. They oversee fundraising, communications, and strategic initiatives to advance the mission of the nonprofit. They will also help build a new department and oversee the development of necessary infrastructure and protocols for the continued development of the team.
Leadership
- Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to a team of 4-7
- Maintain weekly 1 : 1 check ins with staff members and biweekly team meetings, tracking PTO, individual goals, workplans and team priorities by quarter
- Set and lead tracking of achievable goals and expectations tailored to team members’ experience levels, providing consistent feedback and recognizing accomplishments to build confidence and motivation.
- Execute annual performance evaluations for team members
- Offer mentorship and professional development opportunities to support team members in building essential skills and growing within their roles.
