Job Description
One of the top Personal Injury firms in the country, with offices in Houston, Dallas, Midland and Baton Rouge, is seeking a PI Legal Secretary / Legal Assistant having four plus years of experience for their Baton Rouge office. This firm has some of the best records across the country for their victories, which has resulted in the firm as being named among the best personal injury law firms in Texas multiple times.
100% in office.
Location : Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Salary : Up to $80K medical benefits paid 100%, generous bonuses, matched 401K, 3 weeks PTO the first year, casual work attire, free parking, and paid overtime. This position requires a professional, organized self-starter with 4 years as a litigation legal secretary with good tenure.
A proactive work ethic, the ability to anticipate needs, strong decision-making skills, attention to detail, a flexible schedule and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging legal environment are a must. Strong interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to work collaboratively as a team are also required.
Will be working under the direction of an assigned group of Attorneys. Responsibilities include managing busy calendars and constantly evolving schedules, coordinating travel arrangements, meetings and events. Familiarity with e-filing in state and federal courts, docketing deadlines, and trial preparation are also required.
