Summary:
Under general supervision, operates a forklift truck to load and unload trucks. Move boilers, packaged material for shipment and/or storage. Able to make own decisions on proper method of loading trucks to utilize space, protect load and get the most quantity loaded. Must know how to secure freight in a rail or ocean container to protect the product.
In addition, but not limited to the above requirements, this individual will be required, at times, to possess, troubleshoot, repair, or maintain the following:
- Following instructions supplied either in writing or verbal.
- Be responsible for correct truck, unloading, loading, product and utilization of truck space.
- Operate forklift truck and various other loading equipment.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Store products in proper areas when instructed.
- Be familiar with all the component parts of each series of boilers.
- Check to verify that all outgoing products are of high quality and that the product is correct in count and type.
- Prior to entering a truck, verify it is “chocked”.
- Performs related work as directed commensurate with this or lesser rated labor grade.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 year of related experience
- Experience with hand and power tools
