JOB TITLE: Front Desk Agent
REPORTS TO: Clubhouse Manager
COMPENSATION: Hourly (Non-Exempt Status)
SCHEDULE: 20-30 hours per week. Days/times will vary based on the event schedule and will include some nights, weekends, and holidays. This position is available to start training on 3/17.

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our Club – a smile and warm welcome are expected when greeting our Members and guests. This position acts as an ambassador for our Club brand, by maintaining a professional presence at the Club’s entrance (Reception / Lobby area), responding professionally to all phone inquiries and performing various administrative duties in support of the reservation, booking, preparation and hosting of Club member social and dining events.
Who you are:
- You have 3 years of experience in a receptionist role.
- You are a great communicator (written and verbal) and have excellent customer service orientation.
- You prefer a role that operates outside of MF/95 constraints and gives the freedom of a varied schedule.
- You are able to work individually as well as with a team.

- Burning Tree Country Club is, first and foremost, a private golf club that places high importance on creating an open and familyoriented environment.
- The club was founded in 1962.
- Our amenities include an 18hole golf course that has hosted US Open Qualifiers and Met PGA events, an 8lane 25meter pool with a diving well, HarTru tennis courts, a platform tennis complex, and multiple member and event dining options. - Our Food and beverage department includes various a la carte outlets (indoors and outdoors, i.e., The Grille Room, Founders Bar, Patio, and Salons), catering to all Members' and guests' needs according to established rules and etiquette.
The Essentials
- Answer multiline telephones, screen and transfer calls as needed
- Take messages and relay messages in the most polite and professional manner
- Greet guests and members as they enter the building
- Direct guests and members to their destinations when needed
- Book, reserve, and confirm event registrations and dining reservations and members with food togo orders
- Draft and send professional email correspondence to internal and external accounts
- Provide realtime scheduling support by booking facilities and preventing conflicts
- Handling office tasks and administrative duties such as data entry, generating daily reports, setting up meetings, and printing.
- Organizes and maintains the administrative office, lobby, and reception area
