Description
The Senior Operational Finance Analyst is responsible for leading the review of contracts and interpreting their financial implications on projects. This role is responsible for providing recommendations to managers on revenue recognition and will also assist in leading financial project audits.
Analyze financials and key performance indicators of assigned projects and provide meaningful insight to leadership
Interpret financial implications on assigned projects, ensure appropriate application of revenue recognition and apply engineering and construction accounting standards to evaluate risk on complex projects
Partner with engineering and construction project teams to evaluate project financials and forecasting
Collaborate with Contract Accounting Managers on planning initiatives and group coordination
Create and lead formal and informal financial risk training for project managers, divisions, and location management
Manage processes and tasks in support of month-end close and prepare accurate financial reports
Lead client-initiated audits, project-specific financial audits and assist in the annual financial audit for the Company
Support and fulfill lead roles for special projects that focus on innovation and process improvement
Develop and implement best practices for the US and India Contract Analyst teams
Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced staff
Responsible for QA/QC process adherence.
Responsible for compliance with company and site safety policies.
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance and 8 years of relevant experience. Addtional credit may be given for public accounting experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Must be self-motivator, detailed, well-organized and have strong client service skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
