Description
Pay Range: $17/hr - $23/hr
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401K and PTO after 90 days!
Summary: Safely operate production welding equipment to produce the required number of parts that meet quality standards in a timely manner, troubleshoot and adjust to accommodate quality requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Operator will be required to set-up, adjust machines, and equipment in order to produce an acceptable quality product.
Will assist with developing instructions, fixtures, and settings for the job.
Perform all required quality tests, certifications, and production checks as required.
Will continually visually inspect product, record production as required, report/record scrap, and other various duties or rework as assigned.
Operator will be required to make routine equipment adjustments to insure the process is efficient and welding to company standards at all times.
Will be required to manually repair, or hand weld some products that are below standard, due to tolerance variables during the Robotic operations.
Operator will need to know how to operate automated robotic welders (Fanuc) and manual MIG and TIG welders, forklift, hand held grinder, calipers, micrometers, torque-wrench, Tinius Olsen load cell, and other department equipment.
Must keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.
Produce the required number of parts that meet customer and company quality standards in a timely manner
Perform production related quality tasks such as using hand held gauges to measure or gauging parts, properly handle non-conforming material, properly label and package parts, properly complete the quality documentation system forms and comply with company calibration procedures
Perform operator maintenance on production welding equipment, clean tips, clean fixtures – including locating pins and clamps, net pads etc.
