MAJOR CONTRIBUTIONS
- Make daily bank deposit for all checks received.
- Enter and allocate all cash receipts into the accounting system.
- Produce Daily Cash Report for the firm's partners.
- Ensure that all overpayments are researched and resolved, and that receipt applications are appropriate.
- Maintain regular, prompt attendance.
- Work well with others as part of a team.
- Perform other job-related duties.
- An associate's degree or equivalent, preferably with a degree in accounting, plus one year of accounting experience; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Experience in a legal environment and with Aderant Expert software are preferred.
