This position will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the Information Governance Program, including file management (physical and electronic), matter mobility (file transfers), ethical walls, data access requests, legal holds, preservation orders, data remediation, share drive management, case room management, and retention and disposition in compliance with firm policies. KEY CONTRIBUTIONS
Operational & Organizational Management
- Develop goals and objectives for IG operations in conjunction with strategic planning initiatives, including developing IG-specific educational and training programs for attorneys and staff and developing and managing metrics used to evaluate the overall performance of IG operations.
- Collaborate with the Information Governance Council to develop and implement policies, standards, processes, and procedures related to IG operations.
- Ensure the firm's IG Program complies with applicable regulatory rules and laws regarding the management of both client and business information and identify areas of improvement to promote operational excellence.
