Job Summary:
The Behavioral Health Technician II position is a vital role in our Recovery Services team, dedicated to providing compassionate and supportive care to clients and patients. In this role, you will engage with clients, monitor their health, and facilitate therapeutic activities, all while working collaboratively with a dedicated treatment team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Admit, supervise, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients/patients
- Ensure monitoring of vital signs and signs of withdrawal, escalating to medical intervention when necessary
- Facilitate therapeutic services within your scope of expertise under appropriate supervision
- Document all services provided in accordance with State Regulatory/CARF/agency standards
- Participate as an active member of the treatment team, helping to identify client strengths and needs
- Assist clients in performing daily activities and encourage positive social interactions
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by observing good housekeeping rules
- Complete all mandatory trainings within the required time frame
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
- High School education OR equivalent and two (2) years of responsible employment
- Experience in Human Services or a related field preferred

Hold a Certificate from the Missouri Credentialing Board in one (1) or both of the following:
- Certified Peer Specialist
- Missouri Associate Alcohol Drug Counselor
Additional Qualifications:
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to operate a company-owned vehicle
- Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
- Successful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, and abuse/neglect checks
Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body
- Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift
