- Greet and assist clients, verifying personal information and insurance details
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinicians' calendars efficiently
- Process payments, including co-payments and insurance claims
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using Electronic Medical Records systems
- Handle phone inquiries and direct calls to appropriate departments
- Manage appointment changes, cancellations, and no-shows according to established procedures
- Coordinate client referrals and verify eligibility for services
- Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth office operations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and service monitoring programs
- Handle potentially stressful client encounters with professionalism and empathy
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to handle challenging situations professionally
- Proficiency in multitasking and working as part of a team
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Proficient typing skills and ability to work with computers and various software applications
- Reliable transportation to commute to the assigned work location
- Must successfully complete a background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check
