Location: Columbia, Missouri

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

In this hands-on role, you'll provide in-person technical support and oversee the organization's IT assets, ensuring optimal use, performance, and compliance. From setting up equipment to resolving technical issues and maintaining accurate inventory records, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our technology running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-person support for IT-related issues, including hardware and software troubleshooting

  • Set up, configure, and install new computers, peripherals, and software applications

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with desktop/laptop computers, printers, and other IT equipment

  • Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure optimal IT asset performance

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and track asset lifecycle updates

  • Ensure compliance with IT asset management policies and procedures

  • Collaborate with IT team members to address complex technical issues and streamline processes

  • Assist in staff training on IT equipment and software use

  • Document technical issues and solutions for reference and training


Education and/or Experience Qualifications
:

  • Proven experience as a PC technician or in a similar IT support role

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience

  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software systems

  • Familiarity with IT asset management practices and tools


Required License/Certification (one of the following)
:

  • Valid driver’s license (required for travel between sites as needed)

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
