In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing record requests, coordinating with third-party vendors, and ensuring that all inquiries are handled promptly and professionally. Your efforts will directly impact the quality of service we provide to our clients and partners.

- Review record requests for necessary elements and determine appropriate response.
- Return all phone calls, voicemails, and emails within one business day of receipt.
- Coordinate fulfillment of requests with third-party vendors as appropriate.
- Assist third-party vendors with policy and procedure questions, if applicable.
- Fulfill requests internally as necessary and according to policy.
- Provide excellent customer service internally to team members and externally to third-party vendors and/or external requestors.
- Answer and respond to questions regarding releasing records.
- Monitor third-party vendor performance, if applicable.
- Ensure prompt delivery of received records to the appropriate party.
- May have to appear in court, if requested/required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with an Associate's Degree in Health Information Management (preferred).
- Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
- Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
- ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (exists 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.
- Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
