Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Division Manager to lead our Victorville Hauling Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation, operations, customer service, and safety, with excellent leadership and management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the division, setting clear goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve division performance and productivity.
- Evaluate division performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Counsel managers and supervisors on program execution, providing guidance for work plan modifications or contingency plans.
- Ensure efficient and safe completion of routes.
- Oversee personnel needs, including selecting, coaching, training, and evaluating employees.
- Be accountable for the division's service quality, productivity, and safety, as well as the lawful operating condition of company vehicles.
- Monitor and control administrative costs, overseeing functional areas.
- Maintain adequate staffing levels, ensuring proper hiring and training of personnel.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in a highest-level authority management position involving transportation, operations, customer service, and safety.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in management.
- Previous experience in a transportation, waste industry, or recycling environment is preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
- A valid California driver's license is required.

Work Environment
- Standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods - up to 8 hours or more per day.
- Manual dexterity and vision sufficient to operate a personal computer without experiencing abnormal hand, wrist, or eye strain.
- Hearing sufficient to understand conversations, both in person and on the phone.
