Key Responsibilities
- Lead Data Quality Analysis: Oversee the development of features related to data quality for ongoing projects.
- Product Design Collaboration: Provide expert input during the design & development of new product features.
- Data Quality Audits: Take ownership of ensuring the accuracy & timeliness of production data to meet customer needs.
- Client Support: Investigate & resolve client data inquiries & issues.
- Performance Metrics: Establish baseline metrics to track the performance of software upgrades & new enhancements.
- Analytic Trends Analysis: Conduct historical analysis to identify trends across various asset types.
- Process Improvements: Suggest & implement enhancements to fixed income & equity data analysis workflows.
- Documentation: Create detailed documentation for data operation procedures, new data specifications, & test cases for quality assurance.
- Team Leadership: Supervise & mentor junior Financial Engineers, including assigning tasks & conducting reviews.
- Educational Requirements: Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related fields.
- Fixed Income Expertise: Extensive knowledge of fixed income mathematics.
- Quantitative Analysis Skills: Strong skills in quantitative analysis & financial modeling.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with SQL & other data mining technologies such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
- Communication: Excellent written & verbal communication skills to convey complex problems & clarify project requirements.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills & attention to detail to ensure accurate, high-quality deliverables.
- Team Player: Flexible, collaborative, & willing to contribute within a team environment.
- Self-Motivated: Able to work independently with a disciplined approach to achieving timely, accurate results.
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Good understanding of the SDLC & its application in data-driven environments.
