This role involves leading and mentoring a team of data scientists to develop and deploy impactful data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships with business leaders to align data science initiatives with strategic goals.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of data scientists, including recruitment and onboarding.
- Develop and execute data science methodologies and best practices.
- Spearhead technical engagements with senior leaders and key business units.
- Advocate for and drive the adoption of advanced analytics across the organization.
- Educate stakeholders on data science applications and insights.
- Develop, implement, and manage predictive and prescriptive analytics models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics into business operations.
- Identify and manage external data science partnerships and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, data privacy standards, and best practices.
- Education: Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years managing data scientists.
- Skills:
- Expertise in statistical modeling, forecasting, and machine learning techniques.
- Strong ability to translate business problems into actionable data science solutions.
- Experience with Python, R, SQL, and data science tools (e.g., Databricks).
- Cloud computing experience, preferably in Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- PhD in a related field.
- Experience leading end-to-end data science projects within Agile frameworks.
- Background in analytical consulting.
Salary : $197,500
